Our team, Metalfer Steel Mill, proudly participated once again in the traditional futsal tournament in Mačvanski Metković, held from May 30 to June 9. This is the second year in a row that we’ve represented our company at this sports event, which brings together many football enthusiasts and a great atmosphere.
A total of 41 teams took part in the tournament, divided into two competitive categories. Our team demonstrated determination, unity, and sportsmanship through three exciting group-stage matches, in which we achieved two victories and one loss, earning us a spot in the round of 16.
In the knockout stage, it was a tense and uncertain battle. Despite our strong will and effort, our team was stopped after a dramatic finish. Nevertheless, we are proud of the performance, fair play, and respectful attitude toward our opponents, as well as the way we represented Metalfer Steel Mill – with heart, strength, and integrity.
This tournament is yet another opportunity to showcase the values we uphold not only in business but also in sports – teamwork, respect, and perseverance.
