Prime Minister Miloš Vučević recently visited Sremska Mitrovica, where he toured the company Metalfer Steel Mill, the only producer of reinforcing steel in Serbia.
During the visit, Prime Minister Vučević praised the factory for its modern production and high environmental standards, emphasizing the importance of environmental preservation in industrial development. The factory’s capacity is 500,000 tons per year, making it a significant industrial player in the region.
Prime Minister Vučević also highlighted that the Government of the Republic of Serbia will continue to support projects that contribute to the development of Sremska Mitrovica, particularly in the fields of industry and education.
